Recognized as the OLDEST POOL ROOM IN AMERICA. Est. 1888.
The Orton Pool Room includes an all-Brunswick competition room. Play on fully restored, historic Centennial and Century tables, including that used by Willie Mosconi in his amazing run of 365 balls on November 13, 1953.
Since 1888, the Orton Pool Room has hosted exhibitions and tournaments with some of the greatest names in billiards. While Willie Mosconi is our most famous shooter, we have had some recent celebrities: Dr. Cue appeared in 2005, and Earl "The Pearl" Strickland has returned for multiple shows. Stay tuned for more!
The Orton Pool Room is recognized by the Historic Wilmington Foundation as an historic place. Click here for more about this exciting designation!
Sports room includes 17 televisions with satellite TV, coin-operated pool tables, steel-tip dart alley, MegaTouch, Buzztime trivia, internet jukebox, and more! Orton's is the oldest pool hall in America.
